SIBCON is managed by Informa Markets. Sustainability at Informa focuses on the long term impacts we have on customers, colleagues, the communities we work in and the environment. Many of our stakeholders are clearly telling us that sustainability (social, economic and environmental) is something that is no longer a nice to have but a necessary part of any event. We want to make sure we’re meeting those expectations and we believe that being sustainable is the right thing to do.

We also recognise that it’s not just about the way we produce our events and products but recognising that we have a role to play in providing a space to work in partnership together with our markets to inspire the sustainable development of the industries we serve. This is an ongoing process for us and we’re looking for ideas of how we can improve.

Informa’s approach to sustainability is structured around five pillars:

Sustainability in Informa Markets

SIBCON 2024 is proud to be part of Informa Markets and the Informa Group, where our commitment to sustainability is a core focus.

At Informa, sustainability encompasses the long-term impacts on our customers, colleagues, communities, and the environment. Our stakeholders have made it clear that sustainability—encompassing social, economic, and environmental aspects—is no longer just a consideration but a fundamental requirement for any event.

We are dedicated to meeting these expectations and believe that sustainable practices are essential. Our commitment extends beyond how we produce our events and products; we also aim to foster collaboration with our markets to inspire sustainable development within the industries we serve. This is an ongoing journey, and we are eager to explore new ideas to enhance our sustainability efforts.
